Arbor Day Picture

On November 9th,  Lower Makefield Township celebrated its first ever official Arbor Day!

Trees are vital to life on earth, serving as the planet's lung by absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. They provide habitats for countless species, help regulate climate by mitigating the affects of greenhouse gases, and reduce soil erosion. Trees also enhance human well-being by offering shade, improving air quality and creating a serene natural environment.
