Ghost Tour
Welcome to Slate Hill Cemetery- established in 1690 with our last "official" burial in 1929. Slate Hill is home to approximately 400 eternal residents" each with their own unique story and touch on our community. Come join us and meet some of your neighbors,brought to life for one night only. Every year we share new stories- so if you've attended in the past, have no fear- there's more to experience!
A hot beverage will be included in all ticket sales!
Keep in mind:
- The Tour sells out every year at least 2 weeks in advance. Be sure to get your tickets asap!
- Walking tours run every 20 minutes. Each tour will last appx 45-60mins.
- Parking will be offsite but within a 5 minute walk. There will be signs directing you where to park.
- Slate Hill Cemetery is NOT ADA accessible. Due to the nature of a historic cemetery, the ground is very uneven. Please wear appropriate shoes. Though we do everything in our power to light the cemetery, it still has dark spots once the sun is down. Please book your time accordingly.
- There will be 1 port-o-potty on site
- We recommend arriving 15mins early for your tour. If you arrive late, you will be able to join your tour in progress. Due to grouplimits, we are not able to add you to a later group.
- Though perhaps a bit "creepy" at times- this is produced as a family friendly event focused on history and storytelling. This is not a"jump scare" ghost event. Children are welcome!
- In the event of a rain out, we will hold the event 10/18. Tickets will be honored for the same time window on that date.
- All sales are final. No refunds.
