As part of the work to finalize plans for the Highland Drive Project, we have soil boring being conducted and scheduled for next Wednesday (5/29). The soil information will allow the proposed culvert final design footings to be confirmed and part of the bid package being prepared.
The soil boring will be done at the location shown below. The crew will most likely be there from 7:30am until mid-afternoon. A closure of the road will not be needed, but they will have cones set up around their area and have traffic go around a bit wider on that corner. Traffic control by the crew will be done as needed. They will have the cones to separate where vehicles would come down towards the stop sign on Highland as well.
