PECO contractors will be performing gas main replacement projects at the following locations. The roadways maybe closed intermittently to thru traffic. Residents within the effected closure area will be granted passage and should have received notification directly from PECO’s contractor pertaining to the scheduled work if it will directly impact them.
- 149 Pine Lane to Wilbur Road & Wilbur Road from Pine Lane to Raad Drive (with work at intersecting streets) – Work is starting 10/26. Work is estimated to take approximately five (5) weeks.
- Green Ridge Road from Orchard Way to 23 Green Ridge Road and Orchard way from Yardley-Morrisville Road to 5 Orchard Road – Work is starting 10/30. Work is estimated to take approximately seven (7) weeks.
The gas improvement work which is taking place on Edgemere Road Between Lower Hilltop and Concord Lane should be substantially completed within the next few days. The next scheduled step is for PECO to perform the abandonment of the old main which is tentatively scheduled for November 6th. After which the roadway will be permanently restored. Due to winter conditions permanent restoration will most likely take place in the spring of 2024. PECO and their contractors are responsible to keep the roadways safe and within Township standards to ensure travel to the residents and snow removal equipment.
