Lower Makefield Township has a single vacancy on the Board of Supervisors and is accepting expressions of interest for appointment to the position of Township Supervisor. The appointment is to complete an unexpired term created by a recent resignation and will expire on January 2, 2024.
Interested and qualified parties have submitted their letters of interest and resumes to the Township by 4:30pm on Friday, September 1, 2023.
All interested parties will be interviewed. Appointment is anticipated to occur on Thursday, September 14, 2023. Consistent with the Second-Class Township Code, an individual must be a registered elector of Lower Makefield Township and have resided continuously in Lower Makefield Township for a period of at least 1 year prior to the date of appointment to be eligible for the appointment.
