VETERANS SQUARE MONUMENT AND PARK
The LMT Veterans Committee is creating a monument and park at Veterans Square on the corner of Edgewood and Heacock Roads to honor our veterans. We hope to make this a destination for residents to come relax, reflect, and show their appreciation. We are most fortunate to have a professional design team donating their talents for this project. Our design will incorporate the concepts of veterans, community, education and the environment within a historic context. We envision a podium for ceremonies, sculpture, a flag, walking paths, benches, a small picnic area, and lots of open space.
