On Feb. 6, 2013 Pennsbury senior and Lower Makefield resident Kim Wodzanowski was the recipient of LMT's prestigious Environmental Stewardship Award for the year 2012. Several years ago Kim started a recycling effort at Pennsbury sporting events that eventually led to the creation of a "Green Team" club at the high school. This club is now involved in all sorts of recycling efforts throughout the Lower Makefield Community and has become a permanent fixture in the Pennsbury System. Kim's long range view and dogged determination have made all this possible She has been an inspiration to us all.
