The Disabled Persons Advisory Board meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm in the downstairs conference room (Meeting Room C).

The mission of the Lower Makefield Disabled Persons Advisory Board is to educate the public with respect to the Americans with Disabilities Act, educate the community as to the needs of persons with disabilities and to recommend to the Township Manager and Board of Supervisors those actions which will allow persons with disabilities to enjoy equal access within Lower Makefield Township as all community residents.

One of the first goals of the Disabled Persons Advisory Board has been the putting together of a Community Resource Guide of information identifying supporting agencies who can provide human services needed by persons with disabilities.
