The Citizens Budget Advisory Council meets the third Tuesday of each month beginning 7 pm.

Mission Statement
The Citizen’s Budget Commission’s (CBC) mission is to review budgets with a focus on expenditures and revenues in an effort to evaluate, and recommend financial strategies that will have a positive impact on taxpayers in Lower Makefield Township (LMT). Our primary focus is to serve the Board of Supervisors and citizens of our community by being an extension of their vision. With this in mind the CBC will objectively review the LMT annual budget individually and as a group at committee meetings.

The CBC should feel comfortable in providing support to any other LMT Committees with regard to savings and revenue and provide financial suggestions that will coordinate the overall township financial direction. The CBC will provide their recommendations to the Lower Makefield Township Board of Supervisors, township manager and financial director at meetings and through written communication and not during public comment unless it has the consensus of the CBC.
